UNCW’s expanded and renovated library will have its official grand reopening wat 4 p.m. on Sept. 25 in front of the library. Students, who arrived on campus last month, already have access to the building. The September date marks the official for those not associated with the university. The project has been in the works for two years and cost the state of North Carolina $56 million. The renovated facility has 118,000 more square feet for students to utilize. The new three-story building will be outfitted with additional study stations, event areas and modern technology accesses.
