A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Chuck has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, with a minor in engineering, from Clark Atlanta University. She moved to Wilmington and started work as a chemical sales representative in 1991.

Seven years later, Chuck caught the real estate bug. She earned her real estate license and worked as a commercial and residential realtor before becoming an instructor of continuing education courses for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. While her work with the real estate commission was enjoyable, Chuck missed working with clients – especially buyers.

She enjoys the thrill of helping folks get into the home they want AND getting the best deal possible. She loves getting to know each client and really understanding what’s most important to him or her. When working with Chuck, clients know they’re being heard and that she will respect their time by focusing on only the things they want.

Chuck has been active in the community for many years. She is the former General Youth Secretary of the Women’s Home & Overseas Missionary Society for the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church.  She completed the requirements to achieve a Masters of Divinity degree, and is currently the proud pastor of Saint Mark A.M.E. Zion Church in Whiteville.

Chuck, an Autism mom, describes herself as “adventurous”, with CrossFit being just one of her many interests. She has a son, Jadon, with whom she says she “has LOADS of fun”.
