Logan Homes, a Leland based housing developer, recently announced plans to develop the former Aqua Vista Christmas tree farm into an upscale community. The 85 acre site, located on Masonboro Sound Road, is one of the last developable tracts of land located on Masonboro Sound.
The new community will be called “Helms Port”, and it will accommodate 159 homesites. Helms Port amenities will include a 75-slip marina, and a swimming pool and clubhouse that overlook the Intracoastal Waterway
Logan Homes hopes to have the first homes in the community completed by early spring of 2015. Home prices will range from $400,000 to $800,000.
