Just For Buyers brokers Linda Mehner and Peggy Singer recently got a little history lesson on the Forest Hills community in Wilmington. The ladies participated in The Historic Wilmington Foundation’s Guided Walking Tour of Forest Hills. Forest Hills is one of the first suburbs of Wilmington, and was the first suburb built specifically for automobile owners.
Linda and Peggy say they really enjoyed the tour, learning many interesting facts about the neighborhood. They say the tour guide, Elaine Henson, is very knowledgeable and gave a smooth and fascinating presentation. In addition to history of the neighborhood, Ms. Henson also pointed out some of the homes featured in Hollywood films!
