Tim Chappell has joined Just for Buyers Realty as the company’s newest Exclusive Buyers Agent. Chappell is responsible for protecting buyers as they navigate the largest purchases of their lives. His assistance includes helping buyers evaluate the most cost-effective financing available; researching both the negatives and positives of those properties matching their needs; recommending experienced and ethical inspectors; connecting buyers with outstanding, but price-conscious attorneys, surveyors, and contractors; and anticipating and avoiding “transaction bumps” to save buyers time and money and reduce stress.
Tim, a graduate of the Coastal Real Estate School, was most recently affiliated with Century 21 Sweyer and Associates. There, Tim represented both buyers and sellers, but over time learned his passion is on the buyer’s side. “The warm and fuzzy of it is that it just doesn’t feel like work. When I’m with buyers, it’s like being with friends whom I’m trying to help out. It never feels as if I’m on the clock,” says Chappell.
Kathleen Baylies, Broker in Charge at Just For Buyers Realty, concurs. “Tim truly connects with buyers. People love working with him because he has so much energy that it’s contagious, but mostly, they know he genuinely cares about them and their specific circumstances.”
Chappell and his wife, Cathy, have three children ages 15,10 and 4. Most of Tim’s free time is spent transporting his kids to and from baseball, soccer, ballet or gymnastics. He likes to relax by working out at the gym. Tim and his family are currently building their dream home in the southern part of New Hanover County.
