New Construction Homes Could Soon be more Expensive in Brunswick County
Brunswick County Commissioners are considering a proposal that would increase the fees that developers have to pay to hook up a new home to sewer and water lines. For a four bedroom home that fee could potentially raise from $7,000 to $20,000… an increase that almost certainly will be passed on to the buyer. Learn more

It’s estimated that every year somewhere between 25 to 30 million pounds of blueberries are harvested in North Carolina. The majority of which are picked in Pender County and surrounding areas. Our Picture of the Month is on its way to Wilmington
A historic replica of The Nao Trinidad will spend the first part of June docked in Wilmington. The Nao Trinidad was the flag ship of the Magellan expedition, and its replica travels around so folks can get a sense of what sea travel used to be like. The ship will be docked from June 1st to June 11 adjacent to the Veterans Memorial and Hotel Ballast.Tours will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m
