Southport, NC- It may fall on a Tuesday this year, but that is not going to get in the way of all the 4th of July festivities. While many events are scheduled throughout the Cape Fear region the biggest events will be held in Southport.
The annual celebration is one of the oldest in the nation- it dates back all the way to 1795 . Events will kick off on Friday June 30th, and extend to Tuesday the 4th. An official rundown and schedule of events can be found here.
