A third of all New Hanover County listings have slashed their asking price
A study conducted by the Just For Buyers Realty team revealed that out of the 695 homes listed in New Hanover County, 264 of those properties have lowered their prices since the start of September. This equates to 37.9% of all listings in the county. Here is why that is good news for buyers.
Wilmington now has a plan to preserve its urban forest
The City of Wilmington is taking steps to preserve the trees around town. The plan involves the research and monitoring of approximately 40,000 trees in various locations within the city including those along roads, in city parks, natural areas, neighborhoods, business districts, and undeveloped areas. The luxury real estate market in the Cape Fear region repeated a familiar pattern last month. Once again, sales were down slightly, while prices continued to increase.
