The developers of Hidden Cove Place community in Carolina Beach believe they have created the perfect middle ground for buyers who aren’t sure if they want a townhouse or a single-family home. If you can’t make up your mind, you may just fall in love with this new detached townhome neighborhood.
Typically, townhome communities are built in such a way where owners will share at least one of their walls with a neighbor. At Hidden Cove Place, the eight units currently being built are all separated from each other. Each one has its own driveway and its own front and back yards.
They look and feel more like single-family homes, but they cannot be marketed in that way because, like typical townhomes, buyers only own their unit and the land directly under the unit. The front and back yards are owned by the developer.
The first three units are now on the market, with one already going under contract. Buyers have an option between three different floor plans. All the layouts offer three bedrooms with 2.5 to 3.5 bathrooms. The smallest of the models measures just under 1,600 square feet and has a starting price of $699,000. The middle-sized unit measures 1,798 square feet, and prices start at $725,000. The largest unit is 1,850 square feet and lists for $735,000.
Although the townhomes are two stories, some of the floor plans include a first-story bedroom. Other perks include an open floor plan, a kitchen with a wine/coffee bar, dining room, and living room. Hidden Cove Place is conveniently located with easy access to the beach, boardwalk, Carolina Beach State Park, and the boat ramp.
Hidden Cove Place will also offer a saltwater community pool. The HOA covenant does not have any short-term rental restrictions, so these models could make for a great investment property.
The community was developed by Port City Capital and built by Quinn Marlow of Marlow Construction. The units are listed by Tricia Keane of Nest Realty.
