Obviously at this time of the year the adventurous spirit is wrapped around the holidays. There is something festive for everyone; for the kids, for adults, and for the furry family members. There’s even something for those folks who have a heart two sizes too small.
One of our favorite annual events takes place when the coastal community if Kure Beach turns into Whoville- the fictional town from the How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
The one day celebration takes place Friday December 15th from 6:30 to 8:30.
Visitors are asked to don their best Whoville attire and join in a Grinch-themed outdoor holiday celebration. The evening will start with a viewing of the 2000 version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” While the film is playing, everyone can visit different stations setup throughout the park for face painting, Grinch crafts, cookie decorating, and photos with the Grinch. This event is free to attend and will be a wonderful way to get in the Holiday Spirit.
