Brunswick County Commissioner Calls for a Pause on Residential Growth Amid Flooding Concerns
Brunswick County’s rapid growth has made it the fastest-growing county in North Carolina, but Commissioner Randy Thompson believes it’s time to hit the brakes. He’s proposing a nine to 18-month moratorium on new residential development to assess the impacts of recent flooding and review public safety measures.
