The final round of voting is here, and Pender County Schools wants your input! The community has the chance to choose from four potential names for the new K-8 school, but you’ll need to cast your vote by March 4.

Hampstead Elementary / Hampstead Middle
Topsail Elementary / Topsail Middle
East Pender Elementary / East Pender Middle
Hampstead Elementary / Topsail Middle
The Pender County Schools Board of Education will make the final call based on survey results, so your vote matters!
Meanwhile, big changes are coming to the current Topsail Middle School—it’s set to become a Freshman Academy to help ease overcrowding at Topsail High School. That means the name “Topsail Middle” will no longer exist unless it’s chosen for the new K-8 school.
