Burgaw is about to get a whole lot livelier this spring with a brand-new concert series! The Pender Arts Council (PAC) is launching the Burgaw Blueberry Jam Concert Series, bringing live music and a pop-up market to town.
Mark your calendars—every second Friday from April 11 through August, the concerts will take place at Dees Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., coinciding with the town’s classic car cruise-ins. It’s the perfect setup for a fun evening, whether you’re there for the music, the vintage rides, or both.
But that’s not all. Starting at 5 p.m. on concert nights, PAC will also host a pop-up market at its building on 111 S Wright St. Signs will guide shoppers inside, where local vendors will be selling all kinds of handmade goods. Think artwork, photography, pottery, crafts, baked treats, homegrown produce, jewelry, upcycled clothing, and more.
PAC is actively looking for vendors to join in on the fun. If you’re a maker, artist, or creative entrepreneur, this could be a great opportunity to showcase your work. Just bring your own table and tablecloth, and you’re all set!
