At Just For Buyers Realty L.O.V.E. stands for Living On Vacation Everyday. And for us a big part of any vacation is music!
Do you love jazz? Have you ever felt the magnetic allure of a saxophone’s sultry notes or found yourself swaying to the syncopated rhythm of a double bass? Is there a curiosity in your soul that wonders about the mysterious language spoken by a trumpet’s wail? Do you love watching live music that, on some level, is being created in that moment right in front of you?
To be fair, for many people, the answer is “no.” Jazz is not for everyone. But if you’re a jazz lover, you need to know about the Wilmington Jazz community. No, it’s not as big as the ones found in New Orleans, or Chicago, or even north of the border in Montreal. Still, this part of the world is filled with folks who connect with the emotional expressiveness of jazz… and January is the perfect time for them to listen to it live with several performances, followed by the official North Carolina Jazz Festival at the start of February.
Whether you’re a seasoned jazz aficionado or someone contemplating an exploration into this rich American art form, here are some upcoming shows that you don’t want to miss.
