The YMCA of Southeastern North Carolina is gearing up to celebrate National Soccer Day—and they’re inviting kids and families to join the fun.
On July 28, children ages 2 to 14 can hit the Nir Family YMCA soccer fields in Wilmington for an evening of free soccer clinics, skill games, and friendly matches. It’s a chance for young players to learn, grow, and just enjoy the game.
“Soccer has a way of bringing people together,” says Lee Spooner, Director of Athletics at the YMCA. “We’re thrilled to host an event where kids can play, make friends, and be part of our community.”
The action kicks off at 6 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m. Whether your child is new to soccer or already loves the sport, everyone’s welcome.
