Carolyn Atkinson was born in Southern California, lived and worked in Oregon, Washington, and Nevada, and then moved to Wilmington in 2010. She and her husband, Mitch, have three grown children and five grandchildren.
Carolyn owned and operated the Flying Pi Kitchen in Wilmington for six years before receiving her NC Realtor’s license in 2017. “I loved my restaurant and my customers but it afforded me no time for my family. Real Estate has broadened my circle of friends and has given me the time to really experience all that Wilmington has to offer.” Carolyn is currently active with the Community Affairs Committee of Cape Fear Realtors and is a member of PEO (a women’s philanthropic organization).
Carolyn’s interests are travel, cooking, gardening, old movies and anything that involves learning about her surroundings. You can often find her exercising her French Bulldog, Kima, at Hugh MacRae Park or touring open houses throughout New Hanover, Brunswick and Pender counties. “I feel I need to see everything out there to better serve my clients.”
