Highland Shores is a small waterfront community off Highway 133 in Belville, North Carolina. The neighborhood is made up of approximately 50 homes, with several of the properties overlooking the western bank of the Cape Fear River. Because of its proximity to the water, much of Highland Shores is in the flood zone.

The community is near the Brunswick Riverwalk Park, and the shopping and dining options in downtown Leland and off Highway 17, near the neighborhoods of Waterford and Magnolia Greens. Highland Shores is a 10 minute drive to downtown Wilmington and roughly 30 minutes to either the beaches of New Hanover or Brunswick Counties.
Neighborhood amenities include a pool and clubhouse. There’s an annual HOA fee of $2,200.
Our favorite part of the neighborhood is the mature landscaping. You really do feel tucked away and secluded once you enter Highland Shores.
In the last 12 months only one home has sold in Highland Shores. It closed for $1,128,000.
