Carriage Hills is a single-family neighborhood located in Wilmington’s midtown.
What we love most about this subdivision is its proximity to Halyburton Park. The park and Carriage Hills are on the opposites sides of 17th street. So, the two are within walking distance (keep in mind that the stroll takes you across a heavily traveled road.)
Halyburton is one of the area’s largest parks featuring two playgrounds, several picnic areas, a nature center and a 1.3 mile walking trail that runs through a heavily wooded area. It’s a perfect location for walking the dogs, or for anyone who likes outside exercise.
Althoughyou don’t have to leave the neighborhood to enjoy the outdoors. Carriage Hills has a community center with a pool, a small playground and a fenced-in tennis court.
