Carriage Hills is a single-family neighborhood located off of George Anderson Drive and 17th Street, north of Monkey Junction in Wilmington. Home prices start around $175,000 for the 1200 – 2100 square foot homes. Most homes in Carriage Hills were built between 1988 and 2000, but it remains a popular neighborhood, with approximately 20 homes sold in 2014. Home exteriors are brick or sided, and all homes have fairly large. The neighborhood includes a community recreation area where families can enjoy a multitude of different amenities, including picnic tables, a playground, a clubhouse, a community pool and tennis court. The HOA is managed by Blue Atlantic Management and the fees are relatively low. The neighborhood also has many cul-de-sacs, and tree-lined sidewalks. Carriage Hills is conveniently located to area schools, shopping, beaches and downtown Wilmington.
Carriage Hills is located approximately 10 miles from both Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach, and about 6 miles from downtown Wilmington. Resident children may attend the districted public schools of Pine Valley Elementary, Williston Middle and New Hanover High. Also nearby is Codington Elementary, a year-round school.
