Charleston Commons is a very small community off Highway 133 in Leland, North Carolina. Only fourteen homes make up the neighborhood.
The first thing you’ll notice about Charleston Commons are the colors. It is a very bright community with shades of blue, green, yellow and pink. The second thing you’ll notice is all the homes are on stilts. The neighborhood overlooks the marsh and is therefore in the flood zone.
Once inside all the homes are very similar with each offering three bedrooms and three baths. The properties range from 1,400 square feet to 1,750 square feet. Popular features include granite counter tops and stainless steel appliance in the kitchen, hardwood floors, crown molding and gas fire places in the main living area.
Charleston Commons is nearby the Brunswick Riverwalk Park, and the shopping and dining options in downtown Leland and off Highway 17, near the neighborhoods of Waterford and Magnolia Greens. It is a 10 minute drive to downtown Wilmington and roughly 30 minutes to either the beaches of New Hanover or Brunswick Counties.
