Creekside is a private gated community in Burgaw, North Carolina. It is located near the intersection of Highway 117 and Business 117. The neighborhood is the product of American Homesmith, which started construction in 2018 with a handful of empty lots still available for purchase.
When complete Creekside will consist of 120 homes. Most of the existing properties offer three bedrooms and three baths, although a few of the available floorplans do include a four bedroom, three bath option. The smallest of the properties measure 1,400 square feet, with the largest homes measuring just under 2,500 square feet.
Common features include open floorplans, kitchens with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, separate islands, walk-in closets, dual vanities, bonus rooms, back yards with privacy fences, and wooded lots.
Although the neighborhood is only a few minutes away from downtown Burgaw, residents have reported seeing a lot of wildlife in the area; deer, wild turkeys, foxes, bobcats and coyotes are not uncommon sights. In April 2021 Pender County officials urged residents to get their pets vaccinated after a rabid bobcat attacked three people in Creekside.
Creekside is roughly 40 minutes from downtown Wilmington, and 30 minutes from Topsail Beach.
Annual HOA dues are $540, which covers the upkeep of community green spaces. The neighborhood does not have the amenities found in other communities.
In the last 12 months four homes have sold in the neighborhood for an average price of $355,625.
Creekside is located in the Burgaw Elementary, Burgaw Middle, Pender High school districts.
