Most of the homes in Hawkeswater are constructed by DR Horton. The first homes were constructed in 2009 and the most recent homes were erected in 2020. Collectively, the three communities consist of roughly 300 single family homes, and one hundred townhomes that overlook a community pond.

The neighborhood is also located within walking distance of the Brunswick Riverwalk at Belville Park which has its own produce stand, boat ramp, nature trail, fishing pier, playground and outdoor event area.
Most of the single family homes offer three to five bedrooms, with two to three baths. They range in size from 1,600 square feet to 2,300 square feet. Popular features include first floor master bedrooms, open floor plans, cement board siding with brick or stone accents, trey ceilings, coffered ceilings, crown molding, wainscoting, wood flooring, tile flooring, and built-ins.
Our favorite part of Hawkeswater is the many mature trees that were preserved and maintained during construction.
