John’s Creek is a small, single street community located just off Myrtle Grove Road. The entrance welcomes residents and guests with a palm tree and several small shrubs surrounding the sign. The community was built between 1989 and 2002. The brick homes of the neighborhood sit a fair distance back from the road, resulting in long driveways and spacious front lawns. A large median about halfway through the neighborhood includes a wooden bench for residents to rest, and appears to be well kept, matching the yards of the community. Several homes of John’s Creek border the Intracoastal Waterway, and at the back of the neighborhood lies a beach area and a long community pier with a private dock.
