King Fish bay is a private gated community located off Highway 179 in the heart of Calabash. The development overlooks the Calabash River with direct water access to the Intracoastal Waterway and offering views of wetlands and coastal bluffs.
Development on the 60 plus acres subdivision started in 2016. When complete the neighborhood will consist of 236 homes, including large estates located on the river with custom built pools that start at $1.2 million to cottage style homes that measure between 1,100 and 1,300 square feet and start in the high $200’s. So far in 2022 a total of eight homes sold in the neighborhood for an average price of $556,350.
Kingfish Bay is located in the Jesse Mae Monroe Elementary, Shallotte Middle and West Brunswick High school district.
