Lincoln Forest is a neighborhood in Wilmington’s Midtown area. You can enter the area from Independence Boulevard or Oleander Drive. It is located in walking distance from Independence Mall, Alderman Elementary, the Midtown Post Office and the legendry Flaming Amy’s Burrito Barn.
This is the perfect neighborhood for people who want to be in the center of everything this area has to offer. Your are 15 minutes or less away from all the attractions; downtown, Mayfaire Shopping Center, Wrightsville Beach, restaurants and night life, community parks, the municipal golf course and public tennis courts.
Most of the homes in Lincoln Forest were built in the 1960’s, with a few being constructed in the 1970’s. The ranch style is the most prevalent here, all though there are a handful of central hall colonials.
