Mill Creek Landing is located off Village Road in Leland, North Carolina. It is only about a 10 to 12 minute drive to downtown Wilmington. The neighborhood consists of roughly 100 homes built between 2008 and 2017 with a handful of empty lots that are still available.
In the front of the neighborhood are garden or patio style homes, built on slabs. They range in size from 1,100 to 1,400 square feet. Toward the back of the neighborhood, some of the homes are built on pilings, due to their close proximity to Mill Creek, which puts them in a flood zone. These tend to be a little bit larger, measuring from 1,500 to 2,000 square feet.
Our favorite part of Mill Creek Landing is the pond, complete with fountain and park benches, located in the center of the neighborhood. There is also a small private park located near the back of the community available exclusively for Mill Creek Landing residents. The park consists of a kayak launch, floating dock, and fishing areas. To maintain these amenities, owners are charged a small annual HOA fee of $360.
In the last 12 months a total of five homes have sold in Mill Creek Landing for an average price of $327,955
