Quail Ridge is a waterfront neighborhood that was built between the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. There are only a couple of dozen homes here, some of which sit along the marsh. Ranch and traditional colonials are the most common style.
The phrase that comes to mind when visiting the neighborhood is “tucked away.” Quail Ridge itself is tucked away off Pine Grove Road. If you are traveling 45 miles an hour you will likely blow by the entrance. The homes are also tucked away. They sit back from the residential street and many are surrounded and blocked by mature trees.
This is the type of place for people who want to spread out. The average lot size is ¾ of an acre with a few of the homes sitting on two acres or more.
Our personal favorite thing about the neighborhood is the landscaping in the median of the main road
Quail Ridge is located in the Masonboro Elementary, Roland Grise Middle, Hoggard High school district. In the last 12 months two homes have sold in Quail Ridge for an average price of $612,000.
