Rice Hope Plantation is a small waterfront community made up of a dozen homes all located on the same cul-de-sac. Even though the development sits on the western banks of the Cape Fear River, the homes are out of the flood zone, but small portions of some of the lots are still inside the flood zone.
Located off Highway 133, in Belville, North Carolina, Rice Hope is only a 10 minute drive to Wilmington, and about a 30 minute drive to either Wrightsville Beach or Oak Island.
The neighborhood offer no amenities, but it is within close proximity to Brunswick Riverwalk at Belville Park which has its own produce stand, boat ramp, nature trail, fishing pier, playground and outdoor event area.
The homes in Rice Hope Plantation offer between three and six bedrooms and range in size from 3,200 square feet to 7,600 square feet. The lots range in size from a half acre to a full acre.
Owners pay an annual HOA fee of $880. In the last 12 months only one home has sold in Rice Hope. It closed for $630,000.
