Saltwater Landing is a medium sized neighborhood in Surf City. It is located off Highway 210, no more than a five minute drive to the “new” Topsail Bridge. (That is on most days. Saturdays in the summer, with renters coming on and off the island, you can expect heavier traffic.)
Construction in the neighborhood started in 2007, but really picked up around 2015. Currently there are roughly 150 homes in Saltwater Landing ranging in size from 1,800 square feet to 3,500 square feet. Most offer four bedrooms and three bathrooms, although there are several homes with three and five bedroom combinations.
Our favorite part of Saltwater Landing is its surroundings. The neighborhood was built next to the marsh, nearby a creek and a heavily wooded area. This is a place for people who like nature.
Community amenities include a pool and clubhouse, fitness center, playground, and a picnic area.
Saltwater Landing is located in the award winning Topsail School District with students assigned to Surf City Elementary, Surf City Middle and Topsail High.
