Southview Park is an example of a newer trend in neighborhood design. Since there’s not always room or enough land to build a massive development with hundreds of homes, major developers have been opting to build one street subdivisions with just a handful of houses.
Only 20 properties make up this community. Southview Park is located off Leland School Road in Leland, North Carolina. It is about a fifteen minute drive to downtown Wilmington and about a half hour drive to the nearest beaches (either Wrightsville Beach or Oak Island.)
Construction started in 2018 by HH Homes with the final homes being erected in 2020. Thirteen of the homes are two story properties. There are different floor plans and styles, but all of the two story homes offer three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The largest of the homes measures 2,435 square feet.
The single story homes in the neighborhood all offer three bedrooms with two baths and range in size from 1,400 square feet to 1,700 square feet.
Popular features include open floor plans, electric fireplaces, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tiled backsplash, trey ceilings and his and her walk-in closets in the master suite.
Only one home has sold so far in 2021. It happened to be the smallest house in the neighborhood, and was purchased for $199,150.
