Wessex & Vantage Point are waterfront communities inside the much large Covil Estates. The neighborhoods are located off Military Cutoff on Wilmington’s east side. Some of the homes in this area back up to the marsh with many of them offering small private docks.
Of all the homes in the Covil Estates area, these are the largest. They range in size from 3,000 square feet to more than 5,000 square feet. Half acre lots are very common here, and each one is meticulously landscaped. No two homes look alike in Wessex and Vantage Point. Wessex and Vantage Point are the neighborhoods closest to the Covil Estates community center, including tennis courts, a clubhouse, community pool and small playground. Residents can get to those areas by sidewalks without having to cross any major streets.
