Effort to make drinking water safer appears to be a success
A new system that is filtering Wilmington and New Hanover County’s water supply appears to be working. The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority recently installed a granular activated carbon filter system. According to recent tests 100% of the water treated by the new system show no signs of contamination. Read more

Landfall’s “Three Bridges” Estate Sells in September
One of the most unique homes in Wilmington’s Landfall community, an exclusive neighborhood on the east side of town, sold in September. It was one of 59 luxury properties to close throughout the Tri-County area in the month. Collectively the homes sold for $95.1 million. Read more.
